Freddie Gibbs – Pronto

Freddie Gibbs has seen great success after the release of his collaborative album with Madlib, Piñata. All the success is rightfully deserved. He’s been touring non-stop since then. He will be at this year’s edition of Pitchfork’s Music Festival along with Madlib.

Recently, we got some new music from Freddie Gibbs. He released a short EP titled, Pronto. It only includes three tracks but each one is amazing. The first track is titled “Pronto” and I think it is my favorite out of the three. Listen to Freddie Gibbs when he raps. I like to refer to his lyrics as “Street Narratives” because that is what it feels like when he raps.

I’m glad Freddie Gibbs is getting the recognition he deserves. He’s been working hard to get to where he is now and I just hope he keeps it up.
